SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Deborah Ellen Von Dolteren Waller, 54, of Savannah, Georgia, daughter of Dorothy Hathcock Von Dolteren, died Tuesday morning, July 7, 2009, at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Edgar L. Von Dolteren and Dorothy Hathcock Von Dolteren. Deborah was an accountant at Great Dane Trailers. She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar L. Von Dolteren and her brother, E. Allen Von Dolteren.
Surviving are her mother Dorothy Hathcock Von Dolteren; one daughter, Jessica E. Taylor and Marvin of Garden City, Georgia; three sons, George J. Von Dolteren, James A. Waller, Jr. and Vicki, Brian E. Waller and Erin, all of Savannah, Georgia; two sisters, Patricia Slawter and her husband Nelson of Andrews, N.C., Lori Pickett and her husband Rick of Millen, Georgia; two brothers, James W. Von Dolteren and David W. Von Dolteren both of Savannah, Georgia; seventeen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and her companion, Jessie Roberson.
The memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Samuel W. Watkins. Interment will be in private.
