David Lawton Wainwright, 61, of Savannah, Georgia, died Wednesday evening, October 2, 2013, at his home.
Born in Savannah, he was a son of the late Henry Jack Wainwright and the late Alice Faye Reynolds Wainwright. David was a cabinet maker with Wilmington Cabinet Company for more than 30 years and was a deep-sea fisherman with Steve Amick Charters.
Surviving are two daughters, Julie W. Yates and Tina W. Chaney; two sisters, Karen Noonan and Janice Price; two brothers, Randy Wainwright and Robert Alan Carter; five grandchildren, Skylar, Cheryl, Hilary, Noah and Cameron, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 o'clock Saturday morning at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Alton E. Carter. Interment will be private.
