SAVANNAH, GEORGIA  - David Clare Page, 72, of Savannah, Georgia, husband of Joyceline McGuinty Page, died Tuesday evening, February 7, 2012, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Udney, Ontario, Canada, he was a son of the late Robert Milton Page and the late Ila May Martin Page. Mr. Page was a communicant of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. He earned a master's degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario. Mr. Page was a retired residential land developer. He was a man who loved his work and enjoyed mentoring young, talented people. Mr. Page was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Alexander Page and Irvin Charles Page.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Joyceline McGuinty Page of Savannah; one daughter, Annalise Page and her husband, Bradley Fincher, of Tampa, Florida; two sons, James D. Page of London, England and Matthew C. Page of Los Angeles, California; one brother, Thomas M. Page and his wife, Frances, of Orillia, Ontario, Canada, and two grandchildren, Jack Fincher and Grayson Fincher.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 Saturday afternoon at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist conducted by The Reverend Mr. Dewain E. Smith. Interment will be in Canada.
