David Durell Donaldson, 62, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday afternoon, March 24, 2017, at his home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Durell Lemuel Donaldson and Hazel Schwalls Donaldson. David graduated from Sol C. Johnson High School and was with Union Camp Corporation for 18 years.
Surviving are his mother, Hazel Schwalls Donaldson; two sisters, Linda Donaldson Doty and Theresa Donaldson Veale; four nieces, Laura Doty Hesse, Marie Doty Burke, Lisa Berry Crowley and Becky Berry; one nephew, James Henry 'Chip' Waters III, and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the graveside, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, conducted by The Reverend John A. Haney.
