David Scott Boley, 49, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Ashlynn Adams Boley, died Wednesday evening, December 19, 2018, at Candler Hospital.



Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a son of Gary William Boley and Sandra Long Wall. Scott graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree from the School of Social Work. He was a member and strong supporter of the Coastal Conservation Association. Scott was an avid fisherman, a lover of music and a friend to everyone.



Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Ashlynn Adams Boley of Savannah; his father and step-mother, Gary and Jan Boley of Greenville, South Carolina; his mother, Sandra Long Wall of Powdersville, South Carolina; one sister, Dee Dee Overstreet and her husband, Nathan, of Chapin, South Carolina; one brother, Jason Boley and his wife, Meredith, of Atlanta, Georgia; his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Chan and her husband, Peter, of Jesup, Georgia; his brother-in-law, Bill Adams and his wife, Vanessa, of Clive, Iowa; his nieces and nephews, Jordan Durham and her husband, Drew, Katie Overstreet, Wilson Overstreet, Townes Boley, Nash Boley, Clara French, Adam French, Abby Adams and Amelia Adams; his great-niece, Joanna Durham, and his great-nephew, Samuel Edwards.



He was preceded in death by his step-father, Lonnie Wall.



The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 o'clock Saturday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.



A memorial service will be held at a later date.
