Daniel Lamar "Sammy" Woods, 75, of Savannah, Georgia, and widower of Allie Lucille Hargett Woods, passed away Wednesday morning, March 15, 2023, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Daniel Woods and the late Erma Deece Jones Woods.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Judy Dianne Ferrell.
Survivors include his children, Michelle Lea Masteller (Bob), Brian Edward Woods (Kelly Bruce), Connor Daniel Lamar Woods, Jordan Amber Winters; grandchildren, Adam Wade Bonner, Christian Kelley Winters, Elan James Cole, Logan Alexander Woods.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 1:30 Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, March 23, 2023, at the graveside, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, conducted by the Reverend Virgil Ray Hargett.
