Daniel 'Danny' Thomas Veale, 62, of Savannah, Georgia, died at home Sunday morning, December 27, 2020, surrounded by family and friends.
Danny was born as the fourth son of Richard and Mary Veale on July 18, 1958. He was and still is loved by many people; if you met Danny you know he was unique. He had a gift for making everyone he knew feel like they were his best friend. He loved to bet on NASCAR and football, he loved spending time in the sticks and going to Butchie's garage. But mostly, Danny was full of love for family, friends, life, and our Lord.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Richard Belton Veale, Sr.; his mother, Mary Louise Frost Veale Foley; two brothers, Richard Belton Veale, Jr., and Mark John Veale, Sr.; one sister, Cindy Louise Veale, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Veale; a brother, Mathew Martin Veale; brother and sister-in-law, Carl Herbert and Patricia Kilbourne Veale, brother and sister-in-law, Fred 'Freddy' Ray and Michele Hawkins Foley, Jr.; a sister, Jeanne 'Wilomeanie' Renee Veale, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to our niece, Keisha Roxanna Veale Strickland, and our sister, Jeanne, for taking care of him in his times of need. We would also like to thank Stevie Joynes for the road trips that meant so much to Danny.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 o\'clock Wednesday afternoon, January 6, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The memorial service will be held at 1 o\'clock Wednesday afternoon, January 6, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by the Reverend Dennis Adams. Interment will be private.
