Daniel Robert Schmidt, 41, of Savannah, Georgia, died Saturday morning, August 24, 2019, in Savannah, Georgia.
Born in Tampa, Florida he was a son of the late William Paul Schmidt and Jacquelyn Louise Chapman Schmidt. Daniel was of the Baptist faith. He was a skilled carpenter. Daniel enjoyed artwork, drawing, and singing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William P. Schmidt II.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Pagan and his husband, Thomas, and Tommy 'T.J.' Pagan and his wife, Leslie; one sister, Michelle Anne Schmidt; two brothers, Michael Schmidt and James 'Jimmy' Edward Schmidt; three grandchildren, Rowan Pagan, Renly Pagan and Ella Pagan; his girlfriend, Katrina Sherrod, and his former wife, Karla Upshaw.
A memorial service will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service.
