CW2 Ronny 'Ron' Lynn Zeigler, U. S. Army (Ret.) died on March 1, 2016 in Savannah, Georgia following a short illness.



Born in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 28, 1951, he was a son of the late Albert and Lola Zeigler. ??Ron retired from the United States Army as a CW2 Warrant Officer after 22 years of service. ??He served in the Korean War and Desert Storm.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Zeigler.



Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Terry Lynn Broad Zeigler; his daughter, Nicole Zeigler and her spouse, Ryan Carroll; his sons, Eric Zeigler and Joseph Woods; his grandchildren, Saffron Carroll, Michael, Mirranda, and Erica Zeigler and Mackenzie Woods; his brothers, James Zeigler, Robert Zeigler and Johnny Knight, and several nieces and nephews.



A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue. Interment will be private.
