Creed Taylor, Jr., 75, husband of Rosemary T. Taylor, died Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at his home in Savannah, Georgia.
Born in Athens, Georgia, he was a son of the late Creed Taylor, Sr. and the late Evelyn Clegg Taylor. He was a graduate of the UGA College of Pharmacy. Creed retired as Captain from the Navy Reserves Medical Service Corp. He also retired from St. Joseph’s/Candler as a pharmacist. Creed served as a deacon and elder at Grace Church of the Islands and was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Val Taylor Bostad and Helen Strudwick Taylor Jordan.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rosemary T. Taylor; children, Laura Brodmann (Patrick) of Savannah, Georgia, Creed Taylor (Staci) of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; grandchildren, Emma, Sarah and Mary Brodmann, and Luke and Avery Taylor; brother, Joseph Clegg Taylor (Janet); brother-in-law, Michael Jordan, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock, Friday, December 30, 2022, at Independent Presbyterian Church – 207 Bull Street, conducted by the Reverend Terry L. Johnson.
