Courtney Leigh Sanderson, 28, of Savannah, Georgia, died Wednesday evening, December 5, 2012.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of Jose Alexander Prieto and Kimberly Sanderson-Prieto. Courtney was of the Christian faith and was an administrative assistant for Southern Motors.
Survivors include her parents, Jose Alexander Prieto and Kimberly Sanderson-Prieto; her brother, Bradley Sanderson of Savannah, Georgia; her maternal grandparents, Rosalyn Hackney of Perry, Georgia and David Curlee, Sr. of Waterloo, Iowa; her paternal grandmother, Barbara Prieto of Savannah; her paternal grandmother, Ladoncie Sanderson of Picayune, Mississippi; and two nieces, Leah Brennan and Aubrey Bolger.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o\'clock Friday evening at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o\'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Robert Ether. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of the Bonaventure Cemetery.
