SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Constance Sue Richmond Reaves, 69, of Midway, Georgia, and formerly of Coal City, West Virginia, widow of Jerry Hayes Reaves, died Tuesday morning, May 24, 2011, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Mead, West Virginia, she was a daughter of Ruby Ayers Richmond Thompson Wills and the late Franklin Richmond. Mrs. Reaves was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, SFC Jerry W. Reaves, U. S. Army, and his wife, Tammy, of Midway, Georgia; two grandchildren, Anna Reaves and Chastity Reaves; her mother of Crab Orchard, West Virginia; three sisters, Betty Richmond of Coal City, West Virginia, Brenda Morgan and her husband, Dannie, of White Sulphur Springs, Montana, and Mary Roberts and her husband, Delbert, of Crab Orchard, West Virginia, and three brothers, Kenneth Richmond and his wife, Sandy, of Shady Springs, West Virginia, Franklin Richmond and his wife, Shirley, of Jumping Branch, West Virginia, and Phil Thompson of Bassett, Virginia.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 o'clock Tuesday morning in the chapel at Sunset Memorial Park - 1925 Harper Road, Beckley, West Virginia.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning in the chapel of Sunset Memorial Park conducted by Pastor Ronald Adkins.
