Cleo Messenger Hogue Gloss, 93, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Harry Benton Gloss, Jr., died Friday morning, December 19, 2014, at her home.
Born in Jane Lew, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Clifford G. Messenger and the late Etsie Richards Messenger. Mrs. Gloss was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Surviving are her son, Harry B. 'Hank' Gloss III and his wife, Sheree, of Savannah, Georgia; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Gloss, Jamie Carson and her husband, Jonathan, and Christina Oresteen and her husband, Paul; one great-grandson, James Carson; one sister, Betty Mogilicki of Rockford, Illinois, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the mausoleum, Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Mt. Clare, West Virginia, conducted by The Reverend John F. Koerner.
