Chris was a graduate of Boston University and began his business career as an account executive with BBDO in New York City. He moved to Savannah in 1969 to help start WJCL-TV and was one of the 'founding fathers' of UHF television in Savannah. After 20 years with WJCL as Executive Vice-President, Chris transitioned to a position with Bellsouth Advertising, from which he retired in 2008.
