Christine Reynale Blackburn

Christine Reynale Blackburn, 72, of Savannah, Georgia, died Thursday evening, October 28, 2021, at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah.



Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Thomas William Blackburn and the late Doris Semph Blackburn. Christine was a former longtime, active member of Bull Street Church of Christ and was a member of Central Church of Christ. She worked 10 years with Peeples Industries of Savannah. Christine retired after 34 years as a Customer Service Support Representative for Labcorp, formerly Roche BioMedical Laboratories. She received countless achievements from Labcorp, including the Crest Award and named Laboratorian of the Year. Christine enjoyed gourmet cooking, entertaining, and cross-stitching. She was a passionate fan of Elvis Presley, NASCAR's Jeff Gordon, and the Georgia Bulldogs.



Survivors include her sister, Maxine R. Blackburn.



The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, November 2, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, November 2, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey ' West.



Her family wants to thank longtime friends, including her church family, for years of love and support.
