Christie Lee Smith, 43, of Savannah, Georgia, died Saturday morning, December 19, 2020, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of Artice Smith and the late Pauline 'Polly' Lee Gailey Smith. Christie's career was in hospitality. She was very outgoing, wild, and funny, with a contagious laugh and very spiritual. She had a big heart and always loved helping people. Christie loved her children and would do anything for them.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dominique Mallet, Sr., and her grandmother, Sally Lee Gailey (Granny).
Survivors include her daughter, Madison M. Sherlin, 21; son, Dominique Mallet, Jr., 16 and numerous other friends and family members.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
