Charles 'Chuck' Everette Maynor, 68, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Phyllis Moyer Maynor, died Sunday afternoon, November 22, 2020, at Memorial University Medical Center.
He grew up in Avon Lake, Ohio, and moved to Savannah to start a 43-year career with Gulfstream. After retirement he enjoyed playing golf with his friends, and spending time with his family and his dog, Lucky.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Moyer Maynor; three children, Michael Maynor (Bonnie), Michelle Halford (William 'Bud') and Melissa Poppell (Adam), and six grandchildren, Hailie, Dalton, Hayden, Megan, Kate and Tyler.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 6:30 Friday, November 27, 2020, at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 6:30 Friday evening, November 27, 2020, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by the Reverend Dr. Dewain E. Smith. Interment will be private.
