Charles 'Chuck' Thomas Lupica, 75, of Savannah and husband of Louise Baugh Lupica, died peacefully Friday morning, July 24, 2015, at his home with his wife and daughter by his side.



Born on March 17, 1940, in Queens, Long Island, New York, he was a son of the late Thomas Christian Lupica and the late Adele Williams Lupica. Chuck served his country in the United States Air Force which brought him to Savannah where he met, Louise, his wife of 53 years. He was an active communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where he regularly practiced his culinary skills and was also a member of the Men's Club. Chuck retired from St. Joseph's Hospital as Director of Purchasing /Materials Management. He was a past member of the Savannah Park and Tree Commission. Chuck was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.



Surviving are his loving wife, Louise Baugh Lupica of Savannah, Georgia; his daughter, Kerrie Harrison and his son-in-law, John, of Atlanta, Georgia; his precious granddaughter, Beth; three brothers, Ted Lupica of Savannah, Georgia, Leonard Lupica and his wife, Josephine, of Long Island, New York, and Paul Lupica of Guyton, Georgia; three nieces and seven nephews.



The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Sunday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.



The funeral service will be held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at St. Paul's Episcopal Church conducted by The Very Reverend Dr. William Willoughby III. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
