Charles William 'Chuck' Humphrey, 74, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Sandra Lee Humphrey, died Monday evening, March 17, 2014, after a hard fought battle with lymphoma.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, he was a son of the late Robert Humphrey and the late Ann Virginia Ekman Humphrey. Mr. Humphrey attended St. James Catholic Church. He retired after 37 years of service with The Coca Cola Company. His career took him from San Diego through Phoenix and Portland to Atlanta.?? Chuck's life always centered around his family while enjoying travel, hunting, fishing and his friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert 'Bob' Humphrey.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Sandra Lee Humphrey of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Jill Kolbe and her husband, Robert, of Saratoga Springs, New York, and Jane Williams and her husband, Primo, of Portland, Oregon; one son, Charles William 'Chuck' Humphrey, Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Franklin, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kate and Joe Kolbe and Elsa and Wade Humphrey; one niece and two nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at St. James Catholic Church conducted by Father Mark J. Ross. Interment will be private.
