Charles "Charlie" Fleming

Charles Joachim 'Charlie' Fleming,77, of Savannah, Georgia, died Sunday afternoon, February 17, 2013, at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center and under the care of Odyssey Hospice.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Carl Brittain and the late Kathleen Saussy Brittain. Charlie graduated from Savannah High School and the University of Georgia. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Order and a loyal Georgia Bulldog fan.
After a career in sales Charlie retired from Life Systems. He was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.
Surviving are two daughters, Lee Morgan and her husband, Henry, and Marie Booker and her husband, Steve, all of Savannah, Georgia; two sons, Britt Fleming and his wife, Peggy, of Mankato, Minnesota, and Will Fleming and his wife, Jennifer, of Savannah, Georgia; five grandchildren, Richard Booker, Marcus Fleming, Krista Fleming, Lilly Morgan and William Fleming, Jr.; one brother, Stetson Fleming and his wife, Linda, of Savannah, Georgia; one niece; two nephews, and many close friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
A graveside service??will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in St. Andrews Episcopal Church Cemetery ' located at St. Andrews Road and Bond Street in Darien, Georgia. A celebration of his life will follow at 4:30 o'clock at the home of Steve and Marie Booker ' 180 Green Island Road, Savannah, Georgia.
