Charles 'Charlie' Edmond Arnsdorff, 78, of Savannah, Georgia and husband of Connie Dyal Arnsdorff, died Thursday morning, November 11, 2021, at his home with his wife of 38 years by his side.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Malcolm B. Arnsdorff, Sr. and the late Cornelia Mingledorff Arnsdorff. Charlie was a faithful member, usher, and served in many other volunteer areas at The CrossRoad Baptist Church. He retired after 42 years as an expeditor and mechanic with Great Dane Trailers. Charlie loved spending time with his family and his cat, Daisy, fishing, and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Arnsdorff, Jr., and a brother, Malcolm B. Arnsdorff, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Dyal Arnsdorff; one daughter, Terry A. Hair; two sons, Tony A. Arnsdorff and John E. Todd and his wife, Tammy; one sister, Suzanne Clough and her husband, Ray; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, November 16, 2021, at the graveside, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, conducted by Dr. Johnny R. Bowen.
