Cephise Harty

Cephise Harty died on February 22, 2024. Cephise had a beautiful voice and a flawless butterfly swimming stroke. She loved her family, enjoyed many and varied friendships.

Cephise was born in Savannah the sixth child of nine on September 18,1961 to Tony and Lucinda Harty. She was a graduate of Saint James Catholic School and Saint Vincent's Academy in 1979. She graduated from the nursing program at Savannah Technical College.

Following her degree she moved for a time to Atlanta working in nursing care returning later to Savannah.

Along with her parents Cephise was predeceased by her brother, Ty Harty.

Cephise is survived by her siblings: Jane McCall, Joseph, Joan Genevieve Shuman (Donnie), William Sloan (Kat), John Nicholas (Tamara), Agnes Lucinda (Bill) and Margaret Beasley (Walter), nephews, Patrick (Cathy) and Tony, Jack, Pearson (Maria), Dylan (Keira) and niece Helen as well as great nieces and nephews, Ford, Emory Teagan, Oakley and Theodore.
