Carolyn Gross Ulmer, 91, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of the Reverend Benjamin Sanford Ulmer, died Tuesday morning, October 12, 2021, at Memorial University Medical Center.
Carolyn grew up in Savannah Georgia. She was a graduate of St. Vincent\'s Academy She graduated from Armstrong Junior College and went on to graduate from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. She taught school for twenty three years; including several years at Calvary Baptist, Savannah Christian and Hebrew Day School.
She was married to Father Benjamin Sanford Ulmer and they were blessed with three children and eleven grandchildren: Dr. Sandy Ulmer and his wife, Laurie Remler Ulmer, have five children, Kelsey, Matthew, Michael, Stephen and Kristen; Mrs. Camille Ulmer Brown and her husband, Stephen Richard Brown, have two sons, Benjamin and Andrew, and Dr. David Ulmer and his wife, Tori, have four children, Miranda, Jack, Crawford and Lydia.
A memorial service will be held at Noon Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. Interment will be private.
