Carolyn Floyd Smith died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Hospice Savannah after fighting cancer for too many months.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Ann Means Floyd and father, W. Harold Floyd.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Smith; her brother, Bucky Floyd and his wife, Shera; a step-son, L. Lee Smith, Jr. and his three sons; a step-granddaughter, Cynthia and her two sons; and her favorite granddaughter, Lauren Chapman and her husband, Chris and their daughter, Cailynn and their son, Wesley; her cousin, Ellen Gross; and her best friend and canine companion, Truman.
A private service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank all of the caring people of Hospice Savannah and Gamble Funeral Service.
