Carolyn Camille Warren Simmons, 85, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Calvin C. Simmons, died Friday evening, April 5, 2019, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Robert and Laurie Warren and worked for many years as a hairdresser. Carolyn was a devoted mother who dearly loved her children.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Taylor Simmons.
She is survived by her son, Robert Calvin Simmons; daughter, April Simmons Tyson and her husband, Michael 'Mike' W. Tyson, Sr.; two grandsons, Michael W. Tyson, Jr. and Bryce C. Tyson; one sister, Judith Warren Martin; one brother, Robert A. Warren, and one half-sister, Helen Maxey Glover.
The memorial service will be held at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Kirk O' the Isles Presbyterian Church conducted by the Reverend Peter J. Whitney.
The family will receive friends at the family home after the memorial service.
