Carol Hall Parrott, 75, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of Dave Parrott, passed away after a short illness Wednesday morning, February 2, 2022 at Memorial University Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Dublin, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin H. Hall and the late Bernice Leggitt Hall. She graduated from Dublin High School and attended South Georgia College. She worked in the banking industry in Atlanta and then Savannah. A talented interior designer, she moved to Amelia Island where she owned and operated a successful interior design business, Amelia Island Interiors.
Carol eventually returned to Savannah and met Dave, the love of her life. Carol was a true Southern lady. She blended their families beautifully. She and Dave enjoyed many travels and adventures. She was the heart of the family and loved nurturing both the grown children and grandchildren. Her joyful personality led to many hours of laughter with family and friends. She was never critical, but generous, kind, supportive, and loving. Carol will always be remembered as a devoted wife and friend, who had a warm generous heart for all. She was the best!
Survivors include her husband of 24 years F. David Parrott and children, Jennifer Parrott Dempsey (Patrick), Taylor Parrott (Tonia), grandchildren Gary White, Hunter and Carson Dempsey, and Brandy Parrott, great-grandson Bentley; a sister, Judy Gillis (Hugh); brother Ben Hall (Callie) and several much loved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, February 12, 2022, at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church in Savannah, Georgia. The inurnment will be held at the church following the service. A reception will immediately follow in the church social hall.
