Carl Allen Day, 56, of Savannah, Georgia went to be with his Lord and Savior July 29, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Diles, and his brother, Ralph Day.?? Carl was devoted to his family, an avid fisherman, and renowned for his strong work ethics.
Survived by his beloved wife Adelaida Tacio Day; sons, Carl and his wife, Tina, and Christopher and his wife, Beatriz; his grandchildren, Andrew and Adriana; his sisters, Tina, Tamy, Loretta, and Kay, and his brother, George.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Father Paul Cabrita, S. M.?? Interment, with full military honors, will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
