Brenda Luckey Van Fossan, 74, of Savannah, Georgia, and wife of James 'Jim' Albert Van Fossan, passed away Thursday evening, February 10, 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital.



Born in Augusta, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Walter Warren Luckey and the late Joyce Lucille Rodgers Luckey. Brenda graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Augusta College in 1969. She retired after 30 years as the benefits manager with Dulany Industries. Brenda was an active member of White Bluff United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the Abigail Circle and formerly served on several church committees. In addition to this, she was a member of the Savannah Moose Lodge in Sandfly. Brenda greatly enjoyed quilting and volunteering at Candler Hospital, where she assisted at the front desk.



In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Lynn Reed Luckey.



Surviving are her husband of 49 years, James 'Jim' Albert Van Fossan; children, Jamie Lynne Benfield (Ken), Janan A. Van Fossan (Lisa) and Ronda Spitzer (Mark); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Benfield, Ian Van Fossan, Jeryl Van Fossan (Kelsey), Rhiana Hoover (Bradley), Miranda Spitzer; brother, Warren Lloyd Luckey and nephew, Cole Luckey.



The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 o'clock, Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at White Bluff United Methodist Church.



A memorial service will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, February 15, 2022, at White Bluff United Methodist Church conducted by the Reverend Barry Giddens. Interment will be private.
