Bonnie Mary Fuhrman, 87, died on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at her home. She was born on August 2, 1937 in Connersville, Indiana to the late George and Mary Gant Lennard.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, George Lennard & Mary Gant; her husband, William A Fuhrman; and two sons, Christopher T Fuhrman and Mark C Fuhrman.
Survived are her son, Patrick L Fuhrman of Savannah; two granddaughters, Molly Fuhrman of Annagassann, Ireland and Alexis Fuhrman of Atlanta, GA.; her brother, Greg M Lennard of Temecula, CA; three nieces, Amber Hutchins of Kennesaw, GA, Kathy Hurt of Euless, TX and Maureen Feuti of Troy, MI; her sister in law, Dale Camp of Royal Oak, MI; her brother in law George Camp of Royal Oak, MI; two nephews, John Camp on Canton, MI and Geoff Camp of Miami, FL
Bonnie worked for the Red Cross as a nurse and disaster services, Memorial Hospital Oncology as an LPN, and Volunteer for Hospice Savannah in the early years of the organization, as well as home healthcare nurse
She was an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening, traveling, music and animals. Bonnie had an infectious smile, a keen sense of humor, a joy for life and an unbreakable love of her family.
Even through very traumatic life experiences, she managed to have a positive outlook on life and always willing to help those less fortunate. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Bonnie’s funeral mass will be held in her remembrance on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10 o’clock in the morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1707 Bull Street, Savannah, GA 31401
