Blanche Moon Cohn

Blanche Louise Moon Cohn, of Richmond Hill, Georgia and wife of Charles J. Cohn, Sr., died Monday morning, June 27, 2016, at her home and surrounded by her family.



Born in Grayson, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Raymond L. Moon, Sr. and the late Jimmie Rutledge Moon. Mrs. Cohn was a member of Corinth Baptist Church for 29 years. She has lived in Richmond Hill for the last 31 years.



Surviving are her husband of many years, Charles J. Cohn, Sr.; her children, Penelope Ann Springer of Rincon, Georgia, Dr. Charles J. Cohn, Jr. and his wife, Dr. Susan Cohn of Georgetown, South Carolina, George E. Cohn and his wife, Barbara, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Elizabeth Joy Miller of Richmond Hill, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; her brother, R. L. Moon, Jr. of Snellville, Georgia; her sisters, Betty Cannon, Sara Aikens, Bobby Kilgore and Sue Bowman and her husband, Harold, all of Snellville, Georgia, and a number of nieces and nephews.



The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Tuesday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah.



The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Robbie Norman. Interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
