Betty Snapp Marcum, born in Lexington, KY on July 30, 1930, left her earthly body and was present with her Lord on December 9, 2021.
Betty was the sixth child of 7 born to Clarence & Nina Snapp. She was a charter member of Heritage Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Lewis Dean Marcum and is survived by two daughters, one son and their spouses: Debbie and John Mamalakis of Savannah, GA; Ginger and Don Wagner of Charleston, SC; and Jimmie & Jennifer Marcum of Lexington, KY. Grandchildren: Nathan (Crista) Wagner, now stationed in Germany; Andrea (Kelly) Epting of Savannah, GA; Josh (Kendall) Wagner of Detroit, MI; Lindsey Marcum & Lauren Marcum of Lexington, KY. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Nick Mamalakis. Great grandchildren: Greyson & Madelyne Epting of Savannah, GA and Ellery & Pierson Wagner in Germany.
Visitation will be at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home- Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY on December 16, 2021 from 11:30 am to 12:30pm.
A celebration of life service will be held immediately following visitation at 12:30 pm for both our mother, Betty Marcum and our father, Lewis Marcum.
Graveside will be private. Memorial gifts may be sent to Baptist Faith Missions, 3985 Boston Road, Lexington, KY 40514.
