Betty Jane Hopkins

Betty Jane Parson Hopkins, 97, of Savannah, GA and widow of John Craig "Crash" Hopkins, passed away Saturday May 27, 2023.
Born in Manistee, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Walter Parson and the late Georgia Clark Parson. Mrs. Hopkins was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse in Dr. Robert Oliver's office.
In addition to her husband of 64 years and her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Walter Thomas Hopkins.
Surviving are a son, Craig Hopkins (Doris); a daughter, Deborah Livingston (Walter); a daughter-in-law, Catherine Hopkins Wexler; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday June 1, 2023 at Hillcrest Abbey East Memorial Park with Father John Palmer Officiating.
Remembrances may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1802 Abercorn St. Savannah, GA 31401.
