Betty Jane Myers Eichenlaub, 84, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of MSgt Bruce Walter Eichenlaub, Sr., U. S. Air Force (Ret.), died surrounded by her family on Sunday afternoon, January 18, 2015, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Hughesville, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Cloyd Myers and the late Bertha Spearman Myers. Mrs. Eichenlaub was a member of Central Christian Church. She was a homemaker who was devoted to her family and also enjoyed shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Marie Eichenlaub, and a brother, Willard Myers.
Surviving are three sons, Bruce W. Eichenlaub, Jr.?? and his wife, Virginia, of Covington, Georgia, Simon M. Eichenlaub of Savannah, Georgia, and Mark W. Eichenlaub, Sr. and his wife, Tammy, of Savannah, Georgia; four grandchildren, Renae Lawson and her husband, Ken, Bruce 'Bucky' Eichenlaub III and his wife, Telisa, Mark Eichenlaub, Jr. and Ashley Brooke Eichenlaub; four great-grandchildren, Amber Lawson, Allan Lawson, Briara McGuire and Anslee Eichenlaub; one great-great-grandson, Cooper Jackson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Wednesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Thomas W. East, Jr. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
