Benjamin Leighton Head, 85, of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday morning, November 24, 2020, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Eros, Louisiana, he was a son of the late Henry Arlo Head and the late Clara Swanson Head. Ben was a faithful member of The Collegiate Church of St. Paul the Apostle, Episcopal. He was the former gift shop manager at the Davenport House Museum.
Survivors include his brother, H.A. Head and his wife, Norma, of West Monroe, Louisiana; nephews and nieces Michael Head (Jen) of Valencia, California, Angela Fry of Diamondhead, Mississippi, Susan Avery (Bobby) of West Monroe, Louisiana and Robert Head of Eunice, Louisiana, and great-nephews and great-nieces Courtney Moore (Anthony), Brendan Head, Meghan Head, Keigan Head, Jonathan Avery and Nathaniel Avery. He will certainly be missed!
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue.
