Barbara M. Schafer, 79, of Savannah died Monday, February 26, 2018.
Born December 6, 1938 in Savannah, she was a daughter of the late Julius Meade and the late Minnie Humphrey Meade. She was a member of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church. She was in furniture sales for many years before her retirement.
Surviving are her son and son-in-law, Thomas E. Schafer Jr., and Clifford E. Harley, and her daughter, Stephanie Schafer Lusk and her husband, Ronnie Lusk.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Thursday evening at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church - 1008 East Henry Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401.
