Barbara Gail O'Neil, 61, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday afternoon, August 7, 2015, at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John Anthony O'Neil, Sr. and the late Mary Elizabeth Hesling O'Neil. Barbara was a graduate of St. Vincent's Academy, The University of Georgia, Emory University, and earned her Master of Social Work from Savannah State University.
Surviving are one brother, John Anthony O'Neil, Jr. and his wife, Kitty, of Savannah, Georgia; two sisters, Mary Cheryl 'Sherry' Armentor and her husband, Ned, of Plano, Texas, and Constance 'Connie' Shoemaker of Gulf Breeze, Florida, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the graveside, Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park ' East.
