Anthony Harty III died on November 8, 2017. Ty, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Savannah, Ga. on May 9, 1952. He was predeceased by his parents, Agnes Lucinda Harty and Anthony Harty, Jr.
Ty served in the United States Coast Guard.
He is survived by brothers and sisters; Jane McCall, Joseph, Genevieve 'Veva' Shuman (Donnie), Sloan (Kat), Cephise, John Nicholas (Tamara), Agnes Lucinda (Bill), and Margaret Beasley; his paternal aunt, Jane H. Abbott, and a niece, nephews and numerous cousins.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
