SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Anne Pollock Richman, 92, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Harry Richman, died Sunday morning, August 2, 2009, at Buckingham South.
Born in Poland, she was a daughter of the late Aaron Pollock and the late Bertha Pollock. Mrs. Richman was a member of Congregation Bnai Brith Jacob and the Jewish Educational Alliance. She was an independent woman and worked as a librarian and opened the first book store at Levy's in Savannah.
Surviving are one daughter, Arlene Ratner and her husband, Allan, of Savannah, Georgia; two sons, Steven Richman and his wife, Regina of Richmond, Virginia, Eric Richman and his wife, Corrine, of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren, Jami and Scott Ducker, Brett Ratner and his fiancé, Elizabeth Hale, Tracy and Charles Cohen, Kevin Richman, Max Richman; three great-grandchildren, Skylar Ducker, Madelyn Ducker, Harrison Cohen; her loving care givers, Denise, Ruby, Robin, Sherdell, Debra, Dineisha, Shanel and the caring staff of Buckingham South.
The funeral service was held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Avigdor Slatus.

The family will sit Shiva at 2 Tomochichi Lane, Savannah, Georgia 31411 starting Tuesday from 1 to 9 o'clock, through Saturday.
