Anne Lurene Louder was born August 18, 1950 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Johnny Louder, Sr. and Ruby Lucille Mack.?? She was the third child born of this union. A younger brother, Earl Gene, died when he was 14.
She attended A.E. Beach High School where she graduated in 1967.?? That same year, she married Neller Gordon, and together they had 3 children. Anne would go on to have 3 more children, all girls.
In 1990, Anne met Earl Jest, and they would later marry in May of 1991. He was the love of her life and devoted to her children. They both enjoyed watching football on Sundays, cheering on their beloved Dallas Cowboys.
On January 30th, God called Anne home, saying 'come unto me and I will give you rest'.
Anne will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, sister, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, her daughter, Kewanda, her brother, Johnny Jr, her son-in-law, Erik Sr., and a best friend, Mozelle Blackshear.
She leaves to mourn her 5 children, Ricky (Yolanda) Gordon and Tony Gordon of Savannah, Ga., Judy Gordon of Lexington Park, Md., and Annie Butler and Kimberly White of Savannah, Ga.; one sister, Charlotte (David) Major of Savannah, Ga.; one sister-in-law, Amanda Louder of Savannah, Ga.; a dear family friend, Brenda Bradshaw; her best friend, Rosa Lee; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a hosts of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The memorial service will immediately follow at 2 o'clock Thursday, February 18, 2021 in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service.
