SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - A. Lurline Moore Bruno, 84, of Savannah, Georgia, formerly a resident of Rochester, Michigan and Panama City Beach, Florida, widow of James Harold Bruno, died Thursday afternoon, February 11, 2010, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Stanton, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John Wesley Moore and the late Emily Elizabeth Bach Moore. Mrs. Bruno was a retired educator for twenty eight years with the public school system of Rochester, Michigan. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by sixteen siblings.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Ann Paradise and her husband, Bill, of Winnetka, Illinois, Jane Elizabeth Bruno, of Savannah, Georgia, Katheryn Louis Knight and her husband, Keith, of West Olive, Michigan; two grandchildren, Rachel and Andrew Knight and one brother, Russell Moore and his wife, Amy, of Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 12 o'clock Saturday morning at Potere-Modetz Funeral Home in Rochester, Michigan.
The funeral service will be held at 12 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Potere-Modetz Funeral Home conducted by her nephew The Reverend James R. Moore. Interment will be in Mount Avon Cemetery in Rochester.
