SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Ann Dikun Hayslip, 84, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Robert "Bob" Hayslip, died Thursday afternoon, November 25, 2010, at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in Towerhill, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late George Dikun and the late Mary Korely Dikun. Mrs. Hayslip was a member of St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church, where she was a member of the Greek Ladies Philoptochos Society since the 1960's. She worked for many years with the Savannah United Ministry.
Surviving are one daughter, Deborah Ann Edwards of Savannah; three grandchildren, James DeWitt Edwards, Jr., Robert Kelly Edwards and Tara Denise Edwards, all of Savannah, and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Monday at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue, with the Trisagion service being held at 6 o'clock.
The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning in St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church conducted by Father John A. Caparisos. Interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
