SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Ann Jeanene Gresham, 52, of Savannah, Georgia, widow of James Richard Cox, died Tuesday evening, January 17, 2012, at Candler Hospital.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Homer K. Gresham, Jr. and the late Louise Hilton Gresham. Jeanene graduated from St. Vincent's Academy in 1978 and was of the Catholic Faith. She was a Sales Representative for Old Town Trolley in Savannah and she was a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan. Jeanene loved her family, friends and her dog Boyer.
Surviving are her daughter, Frances Cheyenne Cox of Savannah, Georgia; one brother, Kenny Gresham and his wife, Denise, of Savannah, Georgia; her mother in-law, Carolyn E. Hodges of Savannah, Georgia; three nieces, Whitney Parsons Sharp and her husband, Jason, of Guyton, Georgia, Sarah Gresham of Weston, Florida, Cassidy Nikole Cox of Savannah, Georgia and several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Thursday at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Avenue, with the funeral service being held at 7 o'clock in the chapel conducted by Father Patrick S. O'Brien.
The Interment will be 11 o'clock Friday morning at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
