Angela Marie Tarpley Sherman, 79, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Leonard Herman Sherman, died Monday evening, October 11, 2021, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Clyo.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Harley Emerson Tarpley and the late Lillie Mae Jones Tarpley. Angela was a Beautician and enjoyed doing hair for friends long after retiring.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Lyn Sherman Wilson and her husband, David; her son, Steve Sherman and his wife, Suzanne; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; her brother, Raymond Tarpley and his wife, Sandra, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm Monday, October 18, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 1 o\'clock Monday, October 18, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Private interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey ' East.
