SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Angela "Angie" Dawn Sherlin, 38, of Savannah, Georgia, died Friday morning, January 15, 2010, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Marion, North Carolina, she was a daughter of Shelia Ann Ballard Johnson and Glen Sherlin. Angie was a member of Grace Home Church in Estill, South Carolina, and was a bartender at Jerry's Lounge.
Surviving are one daughter, Celina Johnson of Savannah; her mother and step-father, Shelia Ann Ballard Johnson and Leonard Ray Johnson of Savannah; her father and step-mother, Glen and Debi Sherlin of Marion, North Carolina; one sister, Robin Sherlin of Savannah; one brother, Dennis Sherlin of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her paternal grandmother, Pernie Sherlin of Marion, North Carolina; her fiancé, Timmy Turner of Savannah; one step-sister, Christy Johnson; one step-brother, Richard Johnson; one half-sister, Jessica Sherlin; one half-brother, Jamie Sherlin; her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends including her best friend, Susan Kempf of Savannah.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Monday at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Herbert F. Hubbard and The Reverend Thomas W. East, Jr. Interment will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
