SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Amelia Donna DeAngelis Dossett, 82, of Savannah, Georgia and widow of Alton Shaver Dossett, died Sunday morning, July 29, 2012, at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late James DeAngelis and the late Carmelina Liaci DeAngelis. Mrs. Dossett was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was a retired administrative assistant for A and L Body Shop.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Hobby and Carol Overby, both of Savannah, Georgia; five sons, Patrick Marklew, James Marklew, John Marklew and Lonnie Dossett, all of Savannah, Georgia, and Vernie Brockman of Louisville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be in private.
