Amber Marie Simmons, 9, of Savannah, Georgia and daughter of CSM Owen Houston Simmons, U. S. Army, and Melissa Ann Wheatley Simmons, died Wednesday morning, May 13, 2015, at Hospice Savannah.
Amber was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, and was a 4th grade student at Pulaski Elementary School.
Survivors include her parents of Savannah; her brother, Austin Owen Simmons of Savannah; her maternal grandparents, Wendell and Marion Wheatley of Wise, Virginia; her paternal grandparents, Warren and Myra Simmons of Pensacola, Florida, and three aunts, Jennifer Passaro and her husband, Michael, Sherry Quarterman and her husband, John, and Virginia White and her husband, Richard.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Monday at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by Chaplain John K. Brocato. Interment will be private.
