Alvin Deutsch, 89, of New York City, New York and husband of Davida Tenenbaum Deutsch, died Wednesday morning, October 6, 2021, at his home with his wife of 54 years by his side.

Graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Yale Law School. Founding partner of Linden and Deutsch, (subsequently Deutsch, Klagsbrun & Blasband) specializing in copywriting in music, theater, and publishing; partner in McLaughlin & Stern from 2001 ' 2021. Adjunct professor of copyright at Cardozo Law School. Served on boards including the Johnny Mercer Foundation, the Goodspeed Opera House, and the Johns Hopkins Sheridan Libraries; Parnas-Presidente from 1997-2001 of Shearith Israel Synagogue founded in 1654. He was a member of the Century Club
The funeral service will take place at 12:30 Monday afternoon, October 11, 2021, at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held in New York at a future date.
