SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Allison Davis Sullivan, 96, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior at 8 p.m. on Monday, September 3, 2012, at Riverview Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Allison was born on October 6, 1915 and was the daughter of the late Fred A. and Alma L. Davis of Savannah. She was a long-time member of Bible Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and served as a volunteer and supporter of that church's Coastal Crisis Pregnancy Center. Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Sullivan, and her son, Fred A.D. Sullivan.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia S. Ray and son John A. Sullivan, Jr., both of Savannah. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A private family service will be held graveside at her family plot in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
