Allen Philip Rosen

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Allen Philip Rosen, 76, of Savannah, Georgia, husband of Arline Joyce Spizman Rosen, died Tuesday morning, January 3, 2012, at Hospice Savannah.
Born in Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Hyman Rosen and the late Ruth Freed Rosen. He was in the United States Marines and served his country during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Rosen was a retired salesman and an avid sports aficionado.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Arline Joyce Spizman Rosen of Savannah, Georgia; five daughters, Ronda Cochran and her husband, Dr. John Cochran, of Atlanta, Georgia, Alyssa Schoonover and her husband, Grant, of Rincon, Georgia, Eileen Dibutera and Cindy Porter both of East Setauket, New York, Robyn Pikuritz and her husband, Steven, of Coram, New York; five grandchildren, Jonathan "Daniel" Cochran, Eliot Martin Schoonover, Shawn Dibutera, Kaitlyn Dibutera and Danielle Porter.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery conducted by Julie Hirsch.
