Allen Wayne Driggers, 84, of Savannah, Georgia, died Saturday morning, August 21, 2021, at his home.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Van Allen Driggers and the late Alice Irene Collins Driggers. Allen was of the Baptist faith. He was a United States Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Van Allen Driggers; and a brother, Wade Lee Driggers.
Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Driggers Hudson (Ronnie), and Alice I. Driggers (Rothmeier); his son, Samuel E. Driggers (Linda); two grandchildren, Ashley Rachel Rothmeier and Samuel T. Driggers (Maricela); three great-grandchildren, Selene, Lauren and Riley Driggers, and his cousin, Pat Swisher.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Service ' 410 Stephenson Avenue.
The funeral service, with military honors, will be held at 7 Tuesday evening, August 24, 2021, in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service. Interment will be at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, August 25, 2021, in Bonaventure Cemetery.
